Our Post Valentine’s Celebration 2014

We had such a great post Valentine celebration with my family at a Korean Restaurant nearby. Just like the usual, we ate out! Food at the restaurant was good. It was worth what we paid for and to think that it was a treat from my husband, that made it even greater.

We ended our day with an awesome movie at home. We watched the entire Iron Man 3 with our girls that made kept them interested finishing to the end. All in all, I could say, it was simple yet glorious celebration for us as a couple and as a family.

Here is a photo of us for remembrance of this year’s Valentine’s as well as the Korean food trip we had last night. Thankful to the Lord above for having to spend Valentine’s to my partner in life. Looking forward for more Valentine’s Day celebration in the future.

It is during special occasions that I realized how blessed and thankful I am for not all couples I know have made it this far of their marriage and celebrate Heart’s day together…

The Big 30

So today, we celebrated my big 30th birthday. It started with a surprise two dozens of roses waiting on me on my desk, thanks to the husband who after all these years remained sweet and romantic to me. He sure knows how to flatter my heart. I was honestly very surprised of the roses because we have been married for a while now and roses are no longer “uso“.

Then in the evening, he treat us out to dinner at Red Lobster, there I was able to eat a lobster tail along with other great yummylicious seafood creatures. All in all, my birthday went great with my family around, I couldn’t ask for a better way to celebrate it. I am very thankful to God for another year of my life. Looking forward for more birthdays to come with my family and hopefully… grandchildren 20 years from now…

Father’s Day Photos

I had one of the best days of my life with my family today as we celebrated the Father’s day. First off, I had Jadyn brought our gifts to her daddy and she opened it for him… a father’s day card and a blow up picture of them in the garden hugging tight then we went to church afterwards…
I had my husband with me and Jadyn in church. For the longest time since Jadyn was baptized in the Philippines my husband went to church with us! How awesome. After the mass, we took few photos of us outside the church and headed to the Chinese restaurant for a lunch treat for Father’s day. I felt good knowing that my treasured family are together on a day like this. I am blessed, so blessed having them in my life!
We ended our day by finalizing the set up of Jadyn’s room with all the newly painted furniture in it. Will post photos on Jadyn’s blog after this.

Here are the shots we took before and after church and in the restaurant…

Family Bonding

The weekends are my most favorite days of the week maybe because I look forward to going out not in a special place but away from the house for just an hour or two. Only during weekends we can do things together as a family because my husband works four days during the week. We do have a little bonding in the house every night though but family bonding we have on weekends is longer and more fun.
When there is a place to go where the three of us could enjoy, we would do that. I am glad I have a husband who spend time with his family rather than ignoring us or spending it with other people. Well, he has no other friends that he’d hangout in the first place so he has nowhere to turn to, but us lolz..
Anyway, we had such a blast at the 2011 Fort Worth Air Expo in NAS JRB Carswell yesterday. Our little girl was able to touch the planes that are in the base and saw flying planes making a show including the Blue Angels. Here are some snaps of us!
